When I was a student, I spent many hours in the garden, often [taking / taken] my homework into our little wooden summer house, or up to the top of my favorite tree. I loved that tree . When the wind was [blown / blew] [strong / strongly], it swayed and I could hear the sound of the leaves. The songs of the birds sounded [different / differently] up there: clearer and louder. I think I went through all the Tarzan books thirty feet or so above the ground. I was madly in love with the Lord of the Jungle, [terrible / terribly] jealous of his Jane. [Dreaming / Dream] about living in the forest with Tarzan led me [to decide / deciding] to go to Africa, [to live / living] with animals and write books about them.
